Having worked all around the world in photography and business, James Swan settled with his wife and children in the beautiful and inspirational Durham Dales where he started his photography business Cygnet Images.

Much of James' focus is on Corporate and Industrial photography, from small start up companies to large multi-nationals. He also offers a bespoke Portrait service that allows customers to choose locations that suit them rather than being stifled in a studio.

James has always loved Landscape photography and the interactions between people and the Landscape. This passion has been rewarded by various awards, most recently a commendation in Landscape Photographer of the Year 2009.

From riots in South Africa to Sheep in the Northern Dales, James continues to look for the unique angle in his photography and treats every commission as a new challenge.
